Beihai Park, CHINA

It is said to be designed in line with a standard Chinese legend. The story is that once upon a time there have been three magic mountains referred to as 'Penglai', 'Yingzhou' and 'Fangzhang' located to the east of Bohai Bay (to the east of China).

Consequently, many emperors in the social organization age of China perpetually sought-after those mountains. The first emperor of the Qin family (221 - 206 B.C.),Emperor Qin Shihuang, wanted to live a continual life and had sent individuals to appear for the magic mountains however they unsuccessful. Then at his palace, he dug a giant pool and collected 3 earth hills in it to imitate the circumstances delineated  within the legend.
